EP 15 Transpacific Partnership-----TRUMPED
Finally, after years of gestation and convoluted, secretive negotiations under President Obama, the Trans Pacific Partnership passed away in its sleep. Not many are mourning its demise, not Republicans, not Democrats, not American Labor organizations, and certainly not China, that was pointedly excluded from TPP.
The move to finally kill it came as no surprise. The Trump Administration put a stake through a barely breathing Dracula. But the question remains--why did anyone think the TPP would be successful?.
